LEVIS: DNA? - izzy777 - 02-09-2023 Hello guys, I ordered 7 items on Levis with the intention on doing PEB for 2 of the 7 items. However, I just got an e-mail saying that the order was split in 3 packages and now I dont think I can hit a PEB. I am plaining on doing a DNA on one of one parcel (the one that got at least one of the items I want). The courier is DHL btw. Total order is about 350eur. What you guys think? RE: LEVIS: DNA? - mothered - 02-09-2023 Quote: I am plaining on doing a DNA on one of one parcelFirst and foremost, check If the company Is liable for lost shipments. RE: LEVIS: DNA? - izzy777 - 02-09-2023 I saw one their website that, if my package does not arrive within 48H after being marked as delivered, to contact them. Unfortunately I also read that "We recommend either a work address or someone present to accept delivery. Levi's® does not hold any responsibility for items which are lost or stolen." So I supposed PEB is the only option here. Can companies not be responsible for lost shipments even if it's not the customer fault? I mean, the customer pays for a product and should therefore either get it or a refund, no? Thought companies could only not be responsible for the returns if they wanted to RE: LEVIS: DNA? - azizouma - 02-09-2023 (02-09-2023, 09:30 PM)Rave0x Wrote:(02-09-2023, 03:20 PM)mothered Wrote:Quote: I am plaining on doing a DNA on one of one parcelFirst and foremost, check If the company Is liable for lost shipments. I think that in the case the company is not responsible for it, it is the shipping company (UPS, DHL...) that have the responsibility for it. So you may have to deal directly with the delivery company to be refunded, which can be a lengthy process I guess. If anyone can confirm that ? In such cases, they release themselves from liability - like It or lump It, It's their policy. That's why It's Imperative to research It prior to hitting the DNA. In case the company doesn't talk about it, what shall we conclude? Sometimes the terms and conditions say one thing, but the company does another. Though I can only vouch for their customer service in the US, I have personally DNA'd Levi's numerous times with no pushback whatsoever - including multiple packages delivered at separate times on the same order. Levi's is vouched for pretty regularly with DNA - and PEB - so it would seem that despite their terms stating this, they tend to lean towards making it right for the customer. Not that you shouldn't proceed with caution and do what you feel comfortable with, or that TOS isn't useful, just wanted to chime in on Levi's specifically. |
