it was a bad idea to use this technique on a 2k order, it would have been better to say that the battery leaked and that the deliveryman refused to take the order back
agents cannot refund an order of this amount, they must escalate the case to a dedicated refund team
you can try to contact them by phone and insist on being polite but I think it's dead
chargeback from the bank or return the order for a refund

no company accepts the return of leaking batteries so they can contact them
liquid dripping in an electronic device is not necessarily dangerous, especially if it is turned off and not connected to a power source
the problem is that the story starts to become ambiguous, the agents have the chat history and take notes
they will probably refuse the refund until they receive the item
