Amazon OFM email 6 months after refund? - highvalueamazon - 01-22-2023 hi hello, Last year I used a refunder service paid with monero transaction (for max security), but the refunder's person did a double dip + refund instead of simple refund on a high value apple item from amazon the first item was SE'd as "damaged" and is "gone" the second item is in my posession and I got a refund now, 6 months after this, I got an email from amazon OFM stating that on my account they saw multiple tickets asking for a refund, but that they didnt get the item back and if I have any questions I should contact them what's the proper course of action here? should I explain that I've been abroad for a while and just send the item2 back to them - keeping the refund? any info would be appreciated RE: Amazon OFM email 6 months after refund? - Paid2330 - 01-22-2023 Is it an account you care about? Personally, I would just ignore. There is a possibility of a rebill, but if you covered your bases by using a VCC/Drop you should be good. Plead Ignorance by saying you cannot recall the series of events that took place 6 months ago, and cannot understand why they're bringing It to your attention half a year later. See how they respond to that. And then expect him to comply and remember every event that took place? They've mismanaged the claim, so why should their problems become his problems? I double checked the dates - sorry for confusion, it was exactly 4 months ago + 2 days Regardless, should I really just ignore the fact that it was double dip + refund and reply stating confusion? What in case they ask me if I use device on a daily basis? I had some refund adventures before on my own, but its the first time ever I'm actually contacted back by amazon heh RE: Amazon OFM email 6 months after refund? - mothered - 01-22-2023 (01-22-2023, 11:59 AM)highvalueamazon Wrote: I double checked the dates - sorry for confusion, it was exactly 4 months ago + 2 daysStill, they should've handled It In 4 days, not 4 months. It's very poor management to bring It to your attention after so many months. Just tell them that you cannot recall any event, and can't understand why they didn't address the Issue at the time of the claim. RE: Amazon OFM email 6 months after refund? - highvalueamazon - 01-23-2023 ok, I am baffled. I got a reply from amazon - when translated it's more or less: "Thanks for contacting us. Your comments help us improve our store and deliver better service. We contacted you to better understand the activity on your account and understand how to improve buyer experience. If you have any questions regarding your account or orders please contact us at @linktothewebsite Regards, Amazon Representative" So, what does that mean? Are they conducting an internal investigation and it was a simple check if I am willing to cooperate? Will they try contacting me again in the future? Should I reach them out? This message I got back from them seems to be some automated mumbling that doesn't really explain anything. RE: Amazon OFM email 6 months after refund? - highvalueamazon - 01-24-2023 @mothered I replied to the message above doubling down, saying stuff like "oh cool in case you need my help you have my number and email; sorry for late reply, i moved the thread to my main inbox to reply faster" and they replied that they consider the case closed and in case I have further questions I can just contact them How am I supposed to interpret the reply? Did they just close the ticket? o.O |
