drivers punished - Riminovz - 01-05-2023

are drivers penalized for an 'incorrectly' delivered package, say for example to the wrong address

RE: drivers punished - Seeeeee - 01-05-2023

This is a question that worries me a lot. I don't exactly have an answer, but I get a lot of packages delivered, and I've done a fair few DNA, and the UPS guy has been and is still quite friendly with me, so I assume he hasn't gotten in any trouble from any SEing I've done.

ok thank you, although i wouldn't call myself a moral person i dont want people worse off than me to get punished and this statement helps relieve the guilt. Smile

I know some aren't for a fact. It depends on the company because One of my delivery guys straight up throws packages on the ground and runs. Will deliver it 3 streets away, he really doesn't care. But others refuse to leave it outside and will stand at my door for a while insuring they get my package to me.

There's even been a few times where he's ripped a hole in the box to have a peak, the sneaky rat.

We don't know. Some drivers claim they are financially responsible for the package and are extremely angry when they have to come to the address. So it can vary from company to company and potentially the country as well.

Whether that is true or how many such claims they can receive before getting a warning and finally getting fired, we don't know.
It does seem that DNA's trigger a visit to the receipient, as well as calls/emails from many courier companies.

I mean a DNA will trigger a visit to the address where DNA is claimed.

Usually the courier comes to the address and it can happen that a person who is not the courier and then the courier comes on another visit.

Usually the courier comes to the address and it can happen that it is a different person than the courier and then the courier comes on another visit.
