EB Gold chain - Aura_ - 12-07-2022

Hello,

i ordered a 2.4 mm gold chain from a online jewelry store and tried to empty box them (the package came in a envelope and the chain only weighs about 4.5 grams or so) and i mailed them saying the chain wasn't in the packaging and after like 4 days they responded saying they checked with the delivery company saying that the weight was the same as when they sent it. What's the best course of action ?

thanks in advance

The fact that the delivery company is saying that the weight was the same as when they sent it, doesn't prove anything.
There could be a problem with their packing.
There could be a slight deviation in weight when weighing the package. (4.5 grams is nothing)
Maybe in your case it is harder to claim that last point, because there were no other items in the package with a lot more weight.
I would recommend being persistent, because as far as you know, they have your money and you don't have the product.

they checked with the delivery company saying that the weight was the same as when they sent it.
The carrier's shipping scales wouldn't have Incremented 4.5 grams.

Tell them to email you the carrier's report, clearly demonstrating the net weight of 4.5 grams for the Item per se.

ok so they have responded with

"We have asked you for a photo of the package. You already threw this away. You also indicated that the package had not been opened. From this and the weight when sorting, we assume that it has been delivered."

what should i respond with

You threw the package away?
Why didn't you take a picture of the chain in the 'empty box' or whatever it came in?

You might've failed the se by not having the box, not sure though pal some companies are really consistent about asking for the package
