SE method for logitech mouse - Injera - 10-27-2022 Purely hypothetical, but interested in SE'ing Logitech mice, specifically the g pro superlight, the g303 SE, the g703, etc. They are all between 60 -100 grams so the boxing method might work. But I've heard they request proof of destruction more often than not Has anyone had luck with disposing of faulty item method? An idea I had was claiming that the lithium polymer battery had caught fire/overheated, causing the plastic to melt and burn my son. Unfortunately I haven't heard of any case of this actually happening. I think the battery may be too small/the mouse itself draws too little power to cause this issue. Another question: would SE work better in this case with retailers such as Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon or directly from the logitechg website? Any feedback/suggestions are welcomed! Thanks. RE: SE method for logitech mouse - AllWrappedUp - 10-27-2022 Usually when Logitech is done people use PoP and or POD. RE: SE method for logitech mouse - fire - 10-27-2022 for logitech just use the S/N method its worked best for me RE: SE method for logitech mouse - stealthysnake88 - 10-27-2022 (10-27-2022, 03:35 PM)vrag Wrote: for logitech just use the S/N method its worked best for meDepends on the rep RE: SE method for logitech mouse - Injera - 10-28-2022 "Ideal to EB It." I agree, but from friends and what I've read online they often request POD rather than a return. I feel that using the corrupted file method in this case has a low success rate so I wanted to go for disposed of faulty item. Maybe with more expensive mice from them such as the superlight (150 USD) will have a better chance at returns "Usually when Logitech is done people use PoP and or POD." For PoD you mean photoshopping the destruction? And logitech products are relatively cheap, <200 USD so I don't think I need s/n, or PoP (10-27-2022, 03:35 PM)vrag Wrote: for logitech just use the S/N method its worked best for me My understanding of the s/n method was that it requires different methods down the line anyways. Such as boxing/disposed of faulty item. Which have you had success with? You obviously cannot provide a POD for an Item you've claimed to have not received. Which country are you in? i tried this when my mouse from logitech legitimately broke but they requested I destroy it instead. So idk if they'll just send a refund without asking for the item back/destruction RE: SE method for logitech mouse - mothered - 10-28-2022 (10-28-2022, 07:37 AM)Injera Wrote: Ahhhh I see. I was trying to avoid them opening investigations/requesting a police report by claiming melted battery instead.Understood.
