Police report problem - Amazon - Miki100 - 10-16-2022
Hi guys, month ago I purchased ryzen cpu on amazon.pl and because of the small weight I used missing item method. Even though I explained rep that package was intact etc. he asked me to file police report. 12.10 I went to police station and file report then I send it to their e-mail. 13.10 I got informed that sent by me police report does not meet their criteria and they can't confirm the details. 14.10 I asked them via chat why my pr was decilned. Rep answered that even tho he contacted the department dealing with this case he cannot provide exact reason why it was declined. And he asked to go and file new pr. How can I go to file new pr if I don't even know whats wrong woth this one? Should I press them to tell me more? I'll add that everything that they asked was provided in that police report (reference number, name of the police station and their phone number, policeman signature etc.)
Any suggestions?

Tell the rep to provide you with the exact details they require to fulfil their criteria. You can then file the PR based on their requirements.

Ok, even though I pressured them they didn't give me any answers why pr was incomplete. Policeman also said that they can't file 2nd pr. So I am kinda stuck. But just today I recived mail post that police start investigation (30 days passed). Should I be worried or is it finally gonna end this case? Also should I send amazon this document, it looks like pr anyway, maybe this is what they need?

It doesn't happen often at all.

Wait for the police to complete their Investigation, and we'll take It from there.
