What method should I use? - A question from a newbie - casyio - 09-26-2022

Hey,
I have been reading mothered blog (socialengineers.net) and decided to try to SE an AMD CPU. It's sold by amazon.de. According to Amazon the item weight is 100 grams and costs 300€. Pictures of the packaging are attached.
Whats the best method to SE? Additionally i do have another AMD CPU, looking almost the same.
I apologize if this is an unnecessary question, i am just trying to learn Smile

Hey there, although it depends, I recommend Empty box, wrong item received (if you have ordered the identical cpu bought from amazon), and of course boxing can work too.

Thanks for the advice! Just so i get the EB Method right: Should i remove the entiere Item with its package out of the box? Or just the Item and leave the box completely empty?

Remove the CPU itself and leave the rest in the box.

Okay, so I start one of those support quick chats and just tell them that the CPU is missing? Anything else I should know?

Exactly. Should they ask about signs of tampering on the parcel box, tell them you noticed none. It has to look like a manufacturer's accident.

Alright, thanks for the help.
Can I PM you if I have further issues?

Hi buddy,
As for the advice I approve of those of the colleague, keep me updated.
I give you another advice: Never put images with data or SN of anything on the internet.
It could make you an SE on your CPU and fail EB.
Greetings

Can the CPU be viewed externally without opening the box?
