Wayfair SE - DarkPowderX - 09-15-2022

I just made a purchase on Wayfair (10in Mattress, $380, will arrive in a box) and was trying to put together a solid plan to SE it. What method would work best. I was just going to do a DNA but wanted to do some research first.

Damaged. Just gives you an instant refund after selecting the options that the box is completely crushed.

They can be DNA'd.

Just check their terms to make sure their policy hasn't changed.

I spoke with someone else that said I would have to get the item replaced and then send the replacement back for a refund. I like your version a lot more honestly. My order should be delivered Sunday so I'll report back on how it went and what method I used.

be sure to update what you do!

Update: Just received the item from Wayfair. I looked at the website to see if reporting it as damaged would work. They give you 3 options overall.

A. Free Replacement - May have to return the original item.
B. Keep Item - 30% Refund
C. Return - %100 Refund

So I'm mauling over whether I should try the replacement and then send it back for a full refund, do a DNA, or just take the safer but way less attractive option of a 30% refund.

Clicking return there gives you a refund anyway. I've done it multiple times.
