S/N method - Karyzelka - 08-26-2022

I've been scouring through the older threads to find some info on previous S/N method attempts on laptops. Perhaps some that are mid to high end, around 2k.

Has anyone had any luck with this method while not boxing, like perhaps using the disposed of faulty item method?

I read one that happened in 2020 but to no avail. Has this method mostly stopped working for more expensive laptops?

Did my laptop. Had to call a few people and talk on mail. Was my actual device and they offered replacement with me not sending anything back (dumped due to being potentially dangerous). Had to send some photos of it and my wall (charcoal powder and water helps). Done in AU

Without naming specifics, I succeeded with the method around 12 months ago on a 1.5k laptop.

It was a very lengthy process that took a lot of manipulation to get the job done.

Ah, you had the actual device on hand, I'm trying to Se one without a laptop on hand but useful info.

What did you say the charcoal and water was? a burn?

Good to hear, maybe I still have a chance. I've been on email for about a week. Just frustrating having to wait a whole day for a reply.

The majority of companies will respond as such, and that's why the method can be a long and arduous process.

In my case, It took around 3 weeks of hammering them with every manipulative tactic I could think of.

Thats gonna be my tactic here, I've got nothing to lose except time, but a lot to gain.

Any tips or strategies?

Remain adamant and push them to their absolute limit.

If need be, request the claim be escalated and re-escalated.

Thats going to be my strategy, ill pressing them over a manufacturer defect and how it was a safety hazard.

Thanks for giving me hope though ahahaha.
