2022 AMAZON FAST REFUND METHOD - DID ANYONE TRY THIS? - s1mple1q - 08-11-2022
1. Buy the items as you would normally do but with a random address as the shipping address
2. Before the items dispatch phone call or email (phone calls quicker so I would recommend to do that)
3. Phone call them saying that the bank has the wrong address on it so could you put it through to this address and say your address
4. Then they will put the order through for you and cancel it before it dispatches and because they put it through for you they cancel it
=> you are getting the refund

well if you cancel the order you should get your money back no? im just having trouble understanding how this would ever work, surely if you cancel it they just never dispatch the item regardless of the address swap brute force attempt

You've purchased an Item, cancelled the order, and received your refund. Given the Item hasn't been dispatched, where's the benefit?

LMAO yea i'm with you on this one, from my understanding, amazon is supposed to ship out your order/put it through for shipping manually upon you changing the delivery address, and then the user's cancellation would give him the money back as well as the dispatched item, but I can't imagine the biggest company in the world making this big of an error it just seems absurd

Yea not gonna lie I didn't even think about that part, is there any way to bypass/ignore their request in that case?

It's a variant of that other method where you cancel the delivery after it's been dispatched then call them saying you never meant to cancel, get them to ship again, receive 2 items

After you've contacted them saying you cancelled It by mistake, why would they ship another Item? They're obviously well aware that It's In transit, so the cancellation will be reversed and the order will once again be marked active.
