Watch Pilot SE - Chris10711 - 08-09-2022

I want to se a watch that is worth £185 and I’m not sure how to approach this.

The website says if you are not in they will not deliver it to you and you must pick it up so DNA will be tricky.

They take pictures but no signatures.
Please help asap

I've been looking into this myself.

My favourite se is EB, you don't have to falsify or forge any documents or boxes. And your not stitching up any delivery drivers you may have to potentially meet again face to face on a regular basis. Just have a good blag and deliver it properly.

Watches I am currently looking into. If the watch itself weighs under 120g, then it is suited to this method. I am watching unboxing videos to check to see if potential watches I want are packaged in a way that the product itself is not visable when being packed.

I now need to move into testing the retailer for cctv, (after reading comments from a far wiser and experienced SE) to see if they physically check the packages contense before shipping, the best way I can fathom to do this would be to order a smaller miscellaneous product from the selected vendor idealy to a drop or separate address, somthing like a cleaning kit ect.. Then raise a EB complaint with the retailer.

I can't proceed with this myself at the moment as I am waiting for 1k of confirmed refunds to fall back into my account and also have another 1k off se's I am waiting to arrive that I haven't started to process yet.

But this will be my plan once I have got through my current projects.

Hope this is useful to you, and good luck with your watch. Please let me know how you get on.

I need to know the exact weight prior to moving forward with the SE.

If that’s the watch, rather than the watch and case / packaging together, it’s too heavy for empty box. EB needs to be less than 120g otherwise the weight difference is likely to be measurable. You’ll need to try a different approach.

Is that purely the watch Itself?

Where Is the collection point, and Is ID required to pick It up?

Photos of what?

The external premises, or the entryway of your home?

Delivery to home and I don’t believe ID is required
