Trying to SE Insta360 camera. Advice? - raproximity99 - 08-05-2022 Hello! This is my first post here. So I am trying to get myself the following camera : - Insta360 One RS 1-inch 360 I initially though about doing a DNA with BHPhoto but I saw another post of someone who tried to do that and they sent an affidavit and had to go through some BS with them. As for doing it with Insta360's website, they are a pretty small company so I'm not sure if they're going to be a trouble to DNA. Worst case I'm thinking about doing FTID. I would like to have your advice please. Thank you. RE: Trying to SE Insta360 camera. Facts. The problem is I haven't done many refunds yet. So I'm just taking as much precautions as I can. Never made any orders from them directly (hence the reason why I made this post in the first place). RE: Trying to SE Insta360 camera. Identify the carrier(s) they use, and establish how deliveries are serviced and received. RE: Trying to SE Insta360 camera. They confirmed signature will be required. However, by experience, most of the time the delivery person will sign himself and leave it at the door (again, an assumption based on previous experience.) I saw on trustpilot 66 reviews (82% are 1-star). They all complain about the quality of the product, the shipping service OR the customer service when they get a defective item. So they could possibly be a hassle to deal with directly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If ordered from BHPhoto, they will use DHL, UPS or FedEx (depending on your location). Also requires a signature (but saw some posts on some forums saying driver signed off himself). They have 288 000 reviews on trustpilot (94% is 5-star rating). In their return policy page, they do not specify that a camera can not be returned. Also, they will issue a refund or replacement on a defective item once they've received the defective one. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What can I do with that information now @mothered (08-06-2022, 06:22 PM)BitPlayer Wrote:(08-06-2022, 10:29 AM)mothered Wrote:(08-06-2022, 05:36 AM)raproximity99 Wrote: Facts. The only thing I found is that their customer service is absolutely horrible to deal with. So I will stay away from them. Regarding B&H, from what I read and found on different forums, they are responsible for any issue related to the shipping or package itself. So I can either claim DNA or Empty Box. Which do you think would be better? Thank you RE: Trying to SE Insta360 camera. That's the only thing I was able to find on their website in their terms and conditions section : ''B&H will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise purchased from us. B&H's liability is limited to the monetary value of the merchandise.''
