Apple - Iphone 13 pro EB - syuh - 07-27-2022

I ordered an Iphone 13 pro from apple.ca 2 days ago and tomorrow I will receive it, I plan to claim EB, I know it's about a 50/50 from my understanding. I'm making this post to detail and post (sorta like a blog) on this particular refund.

If you have any tips that I could use to do this SE let met know.

I used an aged account (idk how aged tho) they require a signature but I'm planning to fake sign it. I will claim the the box was empty but intact without too much detail including that the charger and accessories were still there (if they ask me).

EDIT: Just thought about this can't I just claim battery leak or battery expended? But in that case I would need a proof picture right?
or
I could say something like "When I received the iphone I noticed some liquid on the side but wiped it off and when I use the phone, it gets really hot fast, I think you sent me a faulty item."
And if they ask me to return it I could just pull the law card on them saying that the post wouldn't let me..

Do note that as of late, Apple has been cross-checking weights through Investigations.

How many purchases have been made, Inclusive of SEs, If any?

When claiming the package didn't arrive (DNA), Apple tends to release themselves from liability and asks you to deal directly with the carrier.

Perhaps a photo, or the Item be returned.

Most likely the latter.

Establish whether the phone Is susceptible to leakage In the manner you've described.

Quote:And if they ask me to return it I could just pull the law card on them saying that the post wouldn't let me
They may assign their own carrier that does transport dangerous/hazardous goods.

0 on this account or ever on apple. It's an old account I found by accident.

I've done some research after posting this post of photos or info about it leaking or battery exploding but nothing even found a SE'er having troubles refunding the iphone 13 because apple was claiming over and over that the battery couldn't leak since there were no liquid inside it, then he changed to a white powder or something.

So basically I'm fucked, I hate to say it but I'm seriously thinking about using a refunding service who claims he can do it in 1 - 2 days. I don't want to fuck up and end up with a blacklisted iphone and lose 1.3k

Are there any transactions on the account?

^ That's why I suggested this:

Not at all.

You can use the wrong Item received method. Alternatively, although they don't disclose It, Apple offers a "one-time exception" per account, meaning they have the capacity to refund/replace goods without going through their usual policy of assessing the claim.

The phone can be blacklisted with or without using a refunding service.

That is nice to hear, they will probably ask for pictures or proofs? But since I receive the item tomorrow, I don't really have time to go buy something from the same store.

I got some AirPods, I can maybe pull this off but I don't really want to send them back.

I suggest to make at least one legit purchase prior to performing the SE.

You're not going through with the method you've described, so the photos are not relevant.

If you act now, you'll have ample time.

It is if I claim wrong item, they will probably ask for a picture

I know.

My post Is referring to future SEs.

(07-28-2022, 04:47 AM)syuh Wrote: It is if I claim wrong item, they will probably ask for a picture
It's almost certain they'll request the wrong Item be returned.

(07-28-2022, 04:47 AM)syuh Wrote: Not the same timezone
The wrong Item can still be purchased a couple of days later at the max.

You can box them.

Some members have claimed difficulties, but not In my experience.
