Switching Items - The best way of? - Iso100 - 07-22-2022
Hey guys,
Long time ago since the last time i have posted here. Today I have a dilemma :
I have bought a Sony camera Sony A7 during auctions for a really cheap price. The camera is close to be totally new (it looks like MINT, just the packaging is clearly in bad conditions).
BUT what I didn't know when i bought it: it's a japanese version and PB is > we can't change language on this version...! So I have ordered and just received the same model from AMZ.
My idea was to switch both models, send back the JPN one and keep the Western version.
My question is, should I say to the operator :
1. "there is a problem with the camera, i can't put it in ENG" or another random excuse
2. "Finally, I just don't like it"
3. "it was a mistake" faking than I haven't OPENED the camera packaging ... and just send it back (it was easy to open the packaging without destructing the sticker. + i haven't touch anything else like the battery)"
+ Should I reformat the JPNese one ?

Didn't you said ?it was one of your FAV Method mothered ?They will unsealed a packaging just to verify it ?
Yes but it's like for a wrong item method., right ?..

The wrong Item Is a stock Item of theirs.

Check if there is any SN outside the camera and if so consider to find a way to switch them, in this way it may work. If the SN are the same Amazon shouldn’t give you any trouble

FYI AMaZon has "lost" my regulars & expensives orders 2 times during the delivery this week.

There is a little sticker under the camera rzally hard to unstick.... Even i succeed it will look like strange.... Or i switch the packaging and send the old one? The camera is absolutly new ane MInT but the packaging clearly not

As said, Amazon has significantly tightened their return policy and along with Apple, they're checking sealed box returns. If the correct product hasn't been returned, they'll decline your refund. Moreover, It's their policy to dispose of the wrong Item you've sent back.

When reporting a problem, It'll give them every reason to thoroughly check the return.

Yeah I was talking in general
to the target you try to SEOk so i take more risk by trying an exchange (even if i send an original product) than trying a classical Seing....
So... What methods could wOrk? I can't do a DNA, I can't try the Wrong Item error...
Maybe Item missing? Like I said my last 2 orders has been stolen during the delivery time... And Amazon call me for apologize about it, so... looks pretty realistic right?
Anothzr method maybe?
Last time it really happens it was during Christmas, ordering a lence and i had rock inside..
