Is amazon hittable via FTID anymore? - rahrah - 07-12-2022

yo so basically I did a FTID on a gpu and attempted to contact amazon after 3 weeks, then afterwards I received a email going along the lines of " In those situations where the return item is not processed in 14 days, we want to investigate the return to determine why it was not delivered/processed by our return center. In many instances, this additional time will allow our return center to find the item and process it." I have an account with decent purchase history and one return. I've been reading up on here how others are faced with similar emails, and upon following up on support are faced with OFM and having their accounts restricted , so I've been debating following up. I was just wondering if anyone has successfully SE'd them recently successfully or is it a trap lmao.

Amazon is hit and miss ATM..wouldn't recommend them with FTID right now.

Did mine last week. No problem. Apple Watch 7 GPS + cellular. I have done about 5 or 6 Ftid3 returns on this account. This time they did something they have never done before though. They started an investigation because ”it was an expensive” product”. The watch is around 500 USD but I have returned a GPU worth about 1200 USD and an Iphone 13 Pro Max when they refunded me in chat instantly. But I do have a lot of orders on the account plus a couple of DNAs. I have got the ofm-mail twice I think. I think I’m going to close this account and start a new account in a different name and other details because I think this one is on life support.

It's not surprising the LIT (a variant of the flawed FTID) was directly responsible for the account closure.

Companies/carriers were not born yesterday, they're well aware of their logistics and freight distribution procedures. The method may Initially work, but don't be surprised If they catch on a little while later and request the return - which has happened on countless occasions.

Thanks for the warning, I've decided not to followup and risk getting the OFM. It seems that companies are catching on to FTID lmao
