SE GPU Help - Smate27 - 05-30-2022 Hi, I am looking to SE a GPU from Amazon uk and just had a few questions before i proceed. I have a 10 year plus Amazon history with 2 DNA’s in my past but nothing in the last 18 months, The GPU in question will require a OTP on arrival so i intend to go for wrong item delivered on this occasion. The listing for this GPU (sold and sent by amazon) seems a little incorrect in that it says its only weighs 800 grams which is not correct . Amazon have a separate second listing for the GPU which shows out of stock but states the weight as 2.27kg whereas the GPU manufacturer states the boxed weight on the GPU is 3309g. My question is what weight am i trying to match with my other item? I have found another PC related item i could purchase at 2.3kg so just 30g away from the listed amazon weight but I’m not sure if I'm taking the correct weight for the GPU given the manufacturer figure differs from Amazon’s? Finally for the second (wrong item) item can i order anything that is shipped by amazon even if it is solid by a third party? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me. Any other questions that you wanna ask? Any other questions that you wanna ask? Thanks again for your reply, dry ice is not really relevant or necessary if the Wrong item delivered idea works. Hopefully one of the long standing members will be along and offer their opinion soon 🤞🏼 RE: SE GPU Help - Smate27 - 05-31-2022 Anyone able to help me with this at all? Particularly with regard to the 2nd item and whether it’s ok to buy from a different seller as long as the item is still shipped by Amazon? Its okay you may proceed. RE: SE GPU Help - Smate27 - 05-31-2022 (05-31-2022, 11:38 AM)ShubhamS11 Wrote:(05-31-2022, 05:22 AM)Smate27 Wrote: Anyone able to help me with this at all? Thank you, unfortunately stock has disappeared temporarily so I’ll be delaying until stock return’s RE: SE GPU Help - Smate27 - 06-03-2022 Ok, I’m in need of further assistance with regards to the weight on this! I’m almost certain the weight amazon is listing is just the item…I.E. the weight of the gpu completely unpacked and ready to enter the computer, if I’m correct in this assumption then It’s very difficult to match the weight to another item. Amazon Say 2,27kg for the item and the manufacturer says when boxed it’s over 3kg and just the item is 2.1kg Any tips or pointers to help? Contact them and ask for the weight of the GPU including box. FYI, there have been a couple guys on this forum who tried out the sealed box method on their amazon GPU's and they been successful. So suggest keeping the sb method in mind if you don't find what your looking for. |
