UK Amazon £2000 SE - josh12369 - 05-06-2022 Hello everyone. Long time lurker here. I'm moving out of my flat and I would like to use the address for an SE before I leave. My account is in very good standing (+4 years and over £3000 of orders). I've only done one SE in this account (EB). I was thinking of doing an SE on an expensive laptop from UK Amazon. The reported weight is 1kg, although I find that hard to believe. I was wondering what would the best method be for this particular item considering that an OTP will be required on delivery. Would a EB work or should I go for wrong item delivered? Thanks RE: UK Amazon £2000 SE - BitPlayer - 05-06-2022 (05-06-2022, 06:31 PM)josh12369 Wrote: Hello everyone. Too heavy for EB. DNA if no OTP or wrong item delivered. RE: UK Amazon £2000 SE - mothered - 05-07-2022 Quote: I've only done one SE in this account (EB).How long ago was this? If so, how would I be able to proceed with the SE given that the outer packaging will have a different name and address? Also, the laptop in question has a reported weight of 1.9kg in the manufacturer's website. On Amazon though the package weight is only 1kg. Am I missing something here? [/quote] This was about a month ago, had to stay firm as it took them a while to accept that I did not have to file a police report, I also had trouble after 2 weeks of them receiving it; CS rep kept saying they did not receive parcel despite tracking saying otherwise, once again got put through to a manager, had to fill out a brief form explaining when I sent it, what I sent etc. and I got my refund in my bank 2 days later.
