Need some help with a small SE (mouse) - DragonyCat - 04-23-2022

Sooo, I've been outa the game for quite some time, no SE or RFs for me because I started my final year of my study.
Now that I am almost done, I have some more free time on my hands, and would like to try a small SE just for fun.

I was thinking about a mouse. Razer Basilisk V3. I'm from the Netherlands and was wondering what shop would be easy to do. Maybe someone who has done Razer from the NL can tell me what they did to get a successful (small) SE? Or a different brand of mice can also be a good starting point for me.

Info about the mouse:
- about 63 euros
- 161 grams
- 42,5mm x 60mm x 130mm (hxwxl)

Like I said, doesn't have to be this one necessarily, but it's a nice mouse so why not.

I'm so out of the game that I don't know what to do lol. Any help would be appreciated. Have done headsets in the past but from other shops/brands, plus that was years ago, so I don't know if I need to focus on important aspects to get an SE quick and easy these days.

Thank you.

Update:

I read the post of @Mohalol and asked them a few questions. Afterwards, I made my story and sent it to Razer support via email.
Got a reply back the next day with some basic questions and troubleshooting tips. Basically replied with: when the problem started happening, I indeed tried multiple computers (story: my wired mouse started disconnecting), I indeed used the port of the PC instead of a USB hub. Stuff like that. Gonna wait for the next reply.

Update 2:

Customer support answered with this text:

"Thank you for providing the required information. I hope this email finds you well.

Upon reviewing your case, your Razer Basilisk V3 issues still persist after going through all the troubleshooting steps. This is considered hardware related issue. Hence, we will proceed with the warranty replacement process if your Razer Basilisk V3 is still within the warranty coverage period.

Please provide a copy of the receipt or invoice on the purchase of the Razer Basilisk V3 stating clearly the name of the seller or retailer, the date of purchase, and the Razer Basilisk V3 purchased. Preferably in PDF format or picture format.

If possible, could you please provide a video showing the problem that you are encountering?

You may upload the video to Google Drive or YouTube and share with us the URL link, make sure to set the video as Public or Everyone. Or you may attach the video to this email but kindly remind that the size of the video cannot exceed 25MB.

We will validate your warranty status once receiving your receipt.

Looking forward to your response."

How can I approach this? Photoshop for the receipt and upload a corrupted video file? I have no back up for when they reply with something like "Could you upload your video to YouTube or Google Drive instead?"

Curious...

photoshop the receipt and as for the video that's why I told you about finding a video about your mouse and building an excuse about it so you can provide a video, I don't really know about the corrupted file method that much, wait for other people's opinion, anyway if your problem is about the mouse not connecting to the pc it should be pretty easy to find a video, I'll try to find one for you

Edit: what s surprise, a Razer mouse with no connection problem that's a surprise.
The problem is you've chosen a mouse that have every problem other than a connection issue.
If you got any excuse to use after doing the corrupted file go for it, from my experience they have brainless reps.

I couldn't find it because it's a wired mouse and afaik, wireless mice have this issue more often than wired ones, but I could wrong. Thanks for the help mate!
