When doing the wrong item received method, what stops the company from asking you to return the wrong item you received before giving you a refund? Is there anything you can say when doing high value products to get around having to do fake return it

Indeed! You usually buy the wrong item from the same place, but on a different account. You also wanna make sure that the weight of the wrong item matches the weight of your desired item accurately.

Something I don't understand about the wrong item method is: what if you order 2 items but they come from different warehouses?
Example: if order a lego set and a macbook from 2 different accounts let's say that are same weight, but Amazon will be able to check the lego set isn't stocked in the same warehouse where the macbook is?
Amazon will never refund.
How to avoid this situation?

The important part is that the two items have to be from the same brand right ?
