GPU SE with sealed box method - akroma6668 - 03-23-2022

just posting to report a successful SE on everybody's favorite online shopping platform, for a pricey graphics card

while this method is a lot of work, it's just so good!

the process i did was finding proper replacement seals, and unglueing the old ones with a heat gun on low settings. i then replaced with a weighted item that was within 20 grams of the original. the return went smoothly and i got refunded for the full ammount

Yes, an item of similar weight that fit in the foam without moving

You got that right.

The sealed box method has a very high success rate with an array of companies, both online and In-store.

What if sealed box method fails? What option will be best:
- Should I admit my mistake? For example, I got the boxes wrong because I was shipping to several people at the same time. Come back after a day, call them and say I mistakenly sent this item to someone else. now I am waiting for this person to send the item back to me?

- or maybe insist that I haven't even opened the box and don't know what happened to the contents? just play stupid.

Please advice.

If you take your time and precautions and do your research, they will not unseal the package. But you need to be co vincing in your re sealing.

If you are not convinced with your resealing technique, just return the box and product and try again another time. The key is to be attentive to details and take your time

Simply say you were In a rush, and mistakenly packed the Incorrect Item In the box.

As to why It was resealed to perfection, you were concerned that an open/damaged box would void the refund, hence returned It In Its original state.

Will they ever find out that there was no item in the box that should have been there and link my account to it? How often can I do this?
