List For Best Stores to SE? - Nbaplaya20 - 12-11-2021

I was wondering if we could make a list for the best /easiest stores to SE - in the UK preferably for newcomers. There might be ones that we haven’t heard of that could be great for this list/thread.

Please mention your choices below with the abbreviated methods for that store.

If this already exists than please forgive me and link me to the right thread as this is something I could use myself.

Thanks 🙏

Seems like a lot of ope have high success in the UK with Amazon, Wayfair, clothing stores as in Adidas/Nike. Not that I have done any or had any experience with the UK SE's, just going off of some of the places that I have noticed.

Due to predominantly being problematic with the missing Item/partial methods, I'll list who not to SE as follows.
  • ASOS
  • Argos
  • Very (very.co.uk)
  • EBuyer.com
  • Overclockers.co.uk
  • Mindfactory
  • John Lewis
  • scan.co.uk
  • footasylum.com

All of which have CCTV cameras actively monitoring their movement of stock.

You sure about Asos?

I recently did a EB refund on them and got a instant refund.

I also know somebody who orders from ASOS and never has to sign for anything.

I wasn't supposed to edit my original post lol. The post below was supposed to be separate but yeah.... I originally said that I know somebody that orders from ASOS that doesn't have to sign for anything.

To be honest though, it might be because of the chance of the CCTV being reviewed. Sometimes SE's are successful solely because of the incompetence from the company. ASOS are probably just the least competent on mothered's list hence some of the success. Just a thought lol.

Could be but honestly you can still use DNA on them and if all fails you can use FTID but it's all preference.

Yeah man I hear ya.

I'm still ambivalent about FTID though lol. It's partly because I haven't tried it before. In theory, it looks like it could work, but I don't like how the method admits that you received the parcel - something DNA doesn't. If, for any reason, the company locates the FTID then there is a strong case for fraud if they are able to track it's activity during transit.

If they notice your deception via FTID it could also hurt future SE'ing with that company. At least with an unsuccessful DNA, it's still a "your word against theirs" situation - unless you were really sloppy. There is more room for error with other methods compared to FTID in my opinion and that's why I'm hesitant to use it.

Minimising risk is also a part of successful SE'ing.

I won't lie though, if it worked it would be nice af lol.

Positive.

It's been the case for a number of years. Here's an old article when CCTV monitoring was criticized by warehouse personnel.

Don't base a single SE on the company's operations.

Some representatives have a tendency to approve claims at their discretion, as opposed to following protocol.
