Anyone Seen Dune? - Jiggly - 10-30-2021

Just went to the cinema to watch it today. I'd overheard some colleagues talking about he book and it sounded super interesting. So I went today with family on a whim... And we absolutely loved it. I thought it was going to be difficult to follow with all of the new words and houses. However, it was fine, and a great watch. While I can't compare it to the source material, it's got me really hooked. Now I am very tempted to get the book.

Got interrupted about halfway in. Looking forward to seeing the second half. So far it's pretty good.

The soundtrack in the cinema was intense as I'm sure you can imagine. I already want to buy it on DVD/online platforms to watch it again xD

I finished it yesterday night. I love what they did with the actors and how they envisioned the worms and character development. The weaponry and shielding was also unexpectedly like The Chronicles of Riddick and Pitch Black.

Would recommend - 10/10

Such a good description!! I bought the book thanks to the movie. I cannot wait for another installment. That is a dense book, but they managed to make the movie accessible enough for people who are not familiar with the book to still enjoy and understand the movie. I was very impressed! Love the actors too. They were spot on!

Timothée Chalamet was so good for his role! The entire cast was amazing, though.

I completely agree! I feel like they got so many things right. Good cast, good script, beautiful locations and set.

They made that desert planet look sooo good. Almost comfy.
