an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - randyhobo - 10-11-2021 so i was surprised to find a box outside the gate, not expecting anything so i opened it and voila! oculus and bose from GS. now heres the thing i checked the status of my order and it says awaiting carrier pickup. i havent even got notification that it has shipped. so my question given the situation, what the best way to SE this one? RE: an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - Swimming Bird - 10-11-2021 They would have to claim your package arrived for you to dispute anything. Wait a sufficient amount of time and don't jump the gun. RE: an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - mothered - 10-11-2021 Do not mention anything. Given It was dumped outside the gate, as far as you're concerned, you don't have any knowledge that the package arrived. RE: an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - randyhobo - 10-11-2021 update: received email saying its delivered. still the app and online say carrier yet to pick up from them. weird. lets see how to get around this little scenario RE: an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - mothered - 10-11-2021 (10-11-2021, 05:15 AM)randyhobo Wrote: update: received email saying its delivered. still the app and online say carrier yet to pick up from them. weird. lets see how to get around this little scenarioRegardless of what's stated now and In future, stick with the story that you haven't received It. If they're so concerned about the delivery, they shouldn't have dumped It outside your premises, but rather verify It with (at least) a signature. RE: an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - Pandemic5th - 10-11-2021 Did you get the "delivered" email from the company, or from the shipping company? I'd say wait 48 hours after you received that email then reach out to the company, that you originally purchased from, saying that you haven't received it. Carriers generally take photos of the packages once they're dropped off, and if they review that photo in the investigation they'll see if was carelessly left outside in and unsecured location. They may end up asking for a police report (rare but possible when it comes to DNA's), those are easy enough to manipulate. Under the circumstances, an Investigation Is also very likely to take place. RE: an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - randyhobo - 10-12-2021 got the email confirmation.. appreciate the input RE: an opportunity? or an early sign of doom? - mothered - 10-12-2021 (10-12-2021, 10:08 AM)randyhobo Wrote: got the email confirmation..What does It state?
