Amazon RMA CPU? - Kelso - 07-28-2021

Has anyone tried returning a CPU, but just replaced the actual cpu with something of identical weight instead of doing the standard FTID method?

The item in question comes in a very small box which could be ideal for FTID so maybe I should just pay up the 30 bux and go for that instead?

If so, what option would you guys pick, the traditional "FTID" or the second option "FTID(recipient changed)"
Dunno what the difference is really, don't they change the recipient in the original box to begin with? Or do they just send a random package w dead mice instead lol

There are a few suitable methods available.

First and foremost, what's the precise weight of the CPU?

I ordered a CPU and a cooler a couple years ago, and only the cooler arrived. They didn't verify anything before refunding me the price of the CPU. I don't take advantage of these situations, but I see how people easily could.

Yeah I already got it and built my system, do ill do it on the return I guess? Considering it weighs very little it could easily be done I guess.

What method are you planning to use on the return?

Yeah that's the thing I'm here to ask you about man.

The standard amazon return through DHL I guess? Now what would be ideal, FTID, or simply just returning it with the exact weight in small rocks lol.

If FTID, what's the difference between these two options:
FTID $35.00
FTID (recipient changed) $35.00

I presume the traditional FTID changes the recipient and sends the box to a different location? So idk what the first option is for Zipped

For obvious reasons, I don't support the FTID, so I won't discuss It.

In terms of your other option with adding rocks as the weight substitute, are you referring to the sealed box method?

What happens when It's scanned and the driver bases the delivery on the details of the scan Itself, namely the receiver?

For the method, I'm here to ask you Mothered what the preferred method would be?

How would you go about doing something like this

Given the CPU only weighs 50 grams, the missing Item method Is well-suited. Alternatively, the sealed box method will also suffice.

My only concern Is the box/packaging. Is It fully covered In cardboard, or can the CPU be viewed externally without opening the box?

The CPU can be viewed through :/ But ima put it in a box before shipping as I'm not planning on shipping only the box saying "Expensive CPU name" w the logo n shit for some DHL driver to snatch lol.

So I just ship it back, now the package isnt sealed as the sticker has been broken. But I can RMA it saying it didnt work properly to get a refund.
I can prolly attach something light to the box that will get ripped durin shipping to make up for the weight. Would that work u think?

Now, after they receive it n I call them up n they say it didnt arrive, I just hammer it home and say I sent it. They tell me to take my money, fuck off and never return right. Or will I have to go through a hurdle?
