Amazon.de missing item - KoryKANE - 05-28-2021 Hey frens, I'm new here and wanted to thank you all for sharing your knowledge. I just refunded small stuff but now I ordered a 1k synth off .de and ordered items which equals the weight of the synth (it's small) within a 100g margin and some other small stuff which is unrelated. Would it work to claim the synth wasn't in the box and instead I received two of the cheap items weighing the same instead? They could not deny that claim since the weight would be in the margin of error, right? I had good experiences with indian workers in the chat. I only refunded sth small for 50 euros once with this account 3 or 4 orders back. The account is 10 years old and has had about 50 or more purchases over the years. Thanks frens. RE: Amazon.de missing item - mothered - 05-28-2021 Firstly, welcome to our community. Quote:I only refunded sth small for 50 euros once with this account 3 or 4 orders back. Were there any other SEs as of recent? RE: Amazon.de missing item - KoryKANE - 05-28-2021 Quote:Firstly, welcome to our community.Thank you, glad to be here and share. I have some knowledge regarding Apple exploits I will share soon. Quote:What's the precise weight of the synth? I'm reading conflicting results on google. Some sources say it is 400 others say it's 700. On amazon they say it's 1 pound. The packaging probaby weighs some 100 or 200 grams as well I'm guessing. The item I ordered with approx the same weight is about 736g. I want to claim I received 2x of that cheap item and no synth. I should also note that in this order which will arrive in the same package there are alot of smaller products which I needed to buy anyway. Small stuff where I'm sure there might be fluctuations (mostly cables and electronic stuff) Quote:Were there any other SEs as of recent? No, I just refunded that item by claming DNA on 1 of the 2 orders. No signtaures were signed for that small order. Would the missing item work with the weight? If it doesn't work I'd have to resell the item privately since I could not refund it by claiming "i just found it later" right? Of course, that's on the grounds an Investigation Is opened and the weight Is cross-checked against the carrier's records. Small stuff where I'm sure there might be fluctuations (mostly cables and electronic stuff)If the Item you're Intending to SE Is too heavy, the number of Items ordered on the same consignment won't make any difference. They'll simply check to see If the total package Is ex-amount of grams/pounds lighter and If It Isn't, then your Item could not have been missing. How could they disprove a different item was shipped as ordered if the weight is close enough to pass? Say the synth+packaging weighs 700 grams and the cheap item they "accidentally sent" twice is 750g- wouldn't that check out? Maybe I'm misunderstanding it but what I wanted to do was to claim there was no item in the box at all, not that the actual product is missing from the packaging. Or is this method no good? Asking differently: what method would you recommend for a small but expensive item? Thank you. You can then make an Informed decision with your selection of method. If you're purely using the "wrong Item received method" then yes, the wrong Item's weight must match the product you're SEing. In terms of the missing Item/partial method, here's how It generally works. Let's say your missing Item weighs 1 Kg and the total consignment (with every Item enclosed as ordered), has a weight of 2 kg. If the company liaises with the carrier and checks their records, the weight should be "1 Kg lighter" - due to the fact that you've said your Item Is missing. If It's recorded at "2 Kg", then your Item was enclosed. The above principle, also applies to a mismatch In weight with the wrong Item received method. Or is this method no good? The missing Item method, heavily depends on the weight to succeed. Provided either the gross (shipping) weight or the net (Item) weight Is within the confines of the method's prerequisite, then either of the two will suffice. This will allow to select a suitable method. You can then make an Informed decision with your selection of method. I just received the item. It is this one: amazon.com/Teenage-Engineering-002-AS-001-OP-1-Synthesizer/dp/B00CXSJUZS/ref=sr_1_2?crid=CRS6UE25JE0X&dchild=1&keywords=op1+teenage+engineering&qid=1622296216&sprefix=op1+_%2Caps%2C722&sr=8-2 this is what the packaging looks like. novamusik.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/teen_front-top1.jpg So the item with packaging weighs 770g in total and the dimensions are 312.0 x 132.0 x 43.5mm. The synth itself weighs exactly 600g. I decided to do the boxed method, since the difference between the other ordered article is over 100g. I carefully unpeeled the seal and already applied for a return shipping label after ticking the "accidental order" option under reason for return because this way I thought it was more believable that I accidentally ordered this item I had in my watch for later list. What would I fill the box with that has the exact same weight and feel of something solid? I was thinking of adding a chinese label (it's made in China) saying this is a manufacturing dummy box or sth of the sorts, should they really open the box up before refunding. What do you think? Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks a bunch, fren. RE: Amazon.de missing item - mothered - 05-30-2021 (05-29-2021, 04:53 PM)KoryKANE Wrote: yes.The objective of the sealed box method, Is to replace the original Item with anything of equal weight and seal It as per Its factory state. When they receive your return, they'll assume It hasn't been touched, place It back Into stock and Issue a refund thereafter. As long as you don't show signs of tampering, you can replace your Item with anything you like. |
