eBay account suspended - algb1 - 03-03-2021
eBay account was suspended today after a refund on Currys
Account is indefinitely suspended with no possibility of appeal, so I need an alternative.
Some people have mentioned stealth accounts, anyone have any experience on these?
Am I able to make one myself or is it better to purchase one?

Stop using Ebay.com, you should target companies direct from their website.

I've been suspended before, just opened up a new account and was fine.
Tweak your name and address a bit. ie. Nicholas - Nick. House 10, House 10A blah blah

Was for a phone.
Account was few years old with legit purchases and reviews. First refund I had done on the account. Refund was processed last week but account got banned today.

Account was few years old with legit purchases and reviews. First refund I had done on the account. Refund was processed last week but account got banned today.

They did not specify but it was very obvious to me. It was for a FTID which worked, refund was received then a week later the ban came. My friend had done the exact same company/product around a month ago and his was fine so I was just unlucky. I still got to keep the refund however.
When going on livechat to ask, the person just replied with 'We have decided it is best for both of us to part ways' something along those lines. And the reason for for excessive returns claims even though this was my first ever return on this account which has many transactions and was a few years old.
I am able to use a friends account for now so hopefully I will be clear for the future as I do not plan on refunding through eBay again.
