Sale tax in the US? - holio2k - 02-10-2021 Trying to make a fake receipt for Best Buy in the US and there is one row where I'm supposed to enter the sales tax in %. What are the sales tax in % in the US for electronics, like motherboards? Thanks RE: Sale tax in the US? - mothered - 02-10-2021 Doesn't the generator automatically calculate It based on the price you've entered? No. I'm using this one https://www.receiptmansion.com RE: Sale tax in the US? - Brendaddy - 02-10-2021 It depends where you live.

Although, despite a state-wide sales tax rate, stores still don't advertise their prices including sales tax. It annoys me to no end when I'm shopping in the states. Then again, you have to remember we don't have to pay as much for other things. We aren't paying for healthcare as standard for a start (unless you choose to go private), as our world-class social healthcare is covered by taxes. We have a lot of employee protections too, compared to nations like the states. Statutory sick pay, maternity/paternity pay and time off, and vacation/holiday days are all significantly better than what's on offer in the US. However, as far as I've understood in the past, Australia is far superior on that front than the UK, right? It's common for us brits to look at the aussies (our nearest comparative English-speaking nation outside America) with a longing sigh xD RE: Sale tax in the US? - joantucker - 09-14-2021 It is risky to make face receipts for paying taxes. I have been an accountant for several years, and I have heard many stories about how different accountants are making fake receipts and going to jail. It seems like not a big deal, but it is a big crime. I always try to be sincere while doing my job. For example, I am using only licensed software. I am using Quickbooks for bookkeeping. In my opinion, it is good accounting software for business. You can read more about it on playlouder.com, and maybe you will also start using it. RE: Sale tax in the US? - mothered - 09-14-2021 After 7 months since your request for assistance, @holio2k, did you end up generating a receipt? |
