1850$ SE from amazon starting - maddylok - 02-08-2021
Getting 1850 Iems from amazon. (Earbuds) the sony z1r ier
comes in a 2.56 LB case with cables, eartip covers, and the earbuds.
I will be doing the partial manufacturer and saying its missing the earbuds (weight of .06 lbs, or 26 grams)
Wish me luck! this is my most expensive SE attempt ever.
A signature is required for delivery.
It's been ordered and will arrive this weekend.

By viewing It externally and given the earbuds are extremely light, they cannot determine whether they were enclosed. On those grounds, I cannot see the SE failing.

when I tell them that the earbuds are missing from the package what kind of reply should I be expecting? and should I be avoiding any open cases or investigations?
also shipped package weighs 2.9 lbs and the package of the item itself is 2.59 lbs

I can't see how the partial manufacturer method on the earbuds that weigh 26 grams, will fail- particularly from Amazon. I know for a fact that they've had many legit claims for AirPods, whereby parts were missing (charging case or the earbuds), and no Issues were experienced with refunds/replacements. This clearly demonstrates that manufacturers do In fact make errors, which Is why the method has a good success rate.

Before they started cracking down, DNA would be the go-to for Amazon refunds for AirPods lol. Now you just do FTID and they automatically refund you as soon as you submit your return.
