UPS - papasmurf20 - 11-12-2020

Hi, does anyone know if there will be a problem with claiming partial empty box, the carrier is UPS? The order is Calvin Klein. Thanks

Moved from The Lounge forum to Social Engineering.

That aside, unless you're claiming the box has been tampering with, the missing Item/partial method has no relevance to the carrier.

Quote:The order is Calvin Klein.
Please elaborate further on this.

@mothered thanks for your reply. I was worried about the weight factor?

Okay, I thought you were solely referring to claiming the Item as missing, which Is obviously done through the company.

Packages are weighed at the carrier's depot, so you need to opt for an Item that will not register a weight on consignment. 120 grams Is the absolute maximum- based on an Investigation opened.

@mothered thanks for your reply. What I’ve done is ordered 7 items to keep and 7 to return. All clothing. Would that be ok ?

Are you planning to do a partial on "7 Items?".

RE: UPS - papasmurf20 - 11-13-2020

Yes, I’ve ordered 14 and want to keep 7, you think that’ll be ok? The whole order came in one box delivered by UPS

That's not good practice.

A picking & packing error of 7 Items on the same order (with 14 Items In total) Is extremely unlikely, If not Impossible. Moreover, each Item on average, will need to weigh around 17 grams to not register a weight on consignment.
