Amazon investigation - throwaway998877 - 10-26-2020 Hey all, sorry if this sounds silly but I'm just a little worried. I bought a i7 9700k and also a bag of beads (they weighed 1 pound, whereas the i7 weighed 46g). I talked to the rep saying that the processor wasn't in the package, but with what he said it sounded like he misunderstood me. It was £280 so not a surprise there needs to be an investigation, however I don't want it to fail just because of some miscommunication. In the event that the rep DID say that the beads and the processor weren't in the package, and the claim is denied, what should I do? I'll make sure to update as soon as I get a response. Thanks RE: Amazon investigation - mothered - 10-26-2020 Quote:with what he said it sounded like he misunderstood meWhat did he say? What do you think I should do from here? I might wait one more day and see if I do get a reply from Amazon. In the event that I don't get an email, I might go through chat again and act confused and frustrated. When all else fails, you can hit a PayPal dispute/claim and If that doesn't go according to plan, perform a chargeback via your credit card provider or a bank reversal through your merchant. I'm saving a chargeback for something bigger, and I can't do PayPal as I didn't pay through it. So, I filed the police report, hopefully they'll just say it's out of their hands as nothing was stolen from me personally. I'll keep you updated.(10-29-2020, 04:46 PM)throwaway998877 Wrote: Well, just got the unfortunate email from Amazon saying 'we've recieved a high amount of refund requests blah blah blah'. You're hitting the missing Item/partial method due to a warehouse picking & packing error, so I don't see why they've requested a police report. Anyway, we'll await their response. I hope this works, if all else fails I can sell the processor near RRP. May I PM you about something?

But, as you've done, compliance Is Imperative for the claim to move forward. |
