Logitech Amazon Warehouse (Will They Track Us Down?) - unkn0wn123 - 10-02-2020 So I bought a Logitech keyboard via amazon warehouse deals in Used Like New condition, but didn't want it and sent it back but took a pic of the serial and a support ticket number to try my luck. It seems it might work but I do worry someone else buying the keyboard, trying to register it or replacing it and finding out it was SEd for a replacement and them contacting Amazon. And all Amazon do is check with Logitech who the replacement shipped to and previous buyers for the keyboard. Does anyone think they will go to this length (if someone actually registers it or tries support)? As far as any company Is concerned, an SE Is a legit claim. Given It was SEd for a replacement with no suspicion raised, then there's no cause for concern with who makes the purchase thereafter. For Logitech I said the keys when I press say the K key it will input D, basically saying the input is messed up.(10-02-2020, 11:21 AM)unkn0wn123 Wrote: It's not fully legit as I simply returned the keyboard for a refund to Amazon and the keyboard is fully working which Logitech will be informed off if someone tries to register it or get a warranty claim and be told it's working perfectly fine. What excuse did you use to return the keyboard, and on what grounds did they approve your claim? EDIT: I ended up cancelling the SE saying it works now, I felt it could back fire easily. For Logitech I said the keys when I press say the K key it will input D, basically saying the input is messed up.Now this makes sense, thanks for clarifying It. Although Logitech would've deemed It as a replacement/nonfunctional keyboard, It won't be an Issue If the new owner tried to register It. He/she would have simply said that It's working fine on their end, and Logitech would then make the change on their systems. Technological Items have a tenancy to not work one day, and the next It's perfectly fine. How many times has my laptop failed to boot and after ex-amount of attempts, It functioned as per normal. The same principle could've happened with your return. (10-02-2020, 12:11 PM)unkn0wn123 Wrote: I ended up cancelling the SE saying it works now, I felt it could back fire easily. That's fair enough. If an SE gets to the point of having a significant negative Impact on you, then aborting It Is the way to go. Nothing would have happened, you got too scared cancelling it man. Returned/damaged goods, then sold at a discount price? The SE with Logitech when you used the serial, would've shown up as a warehouse deal. As such, the return may/will have the previous owner's details, hence there's no cause for concern. So if someone tries to used the warranty they'll find out it's been SEd for a replacement. Maybe I should go ahead and say it's stopped working but I still feel uneasy with the whole thing(10-02-2020, 05:35 PM)unkn0wn123 Wrote: When someone else buys the keyboard from Amazon Warehouse and tries to register it or even needs warranty support it'll show it's been used up and replaced which would have all my info on it from Logitech(10-02-2020, 05:35 PM)unkn0wn123 Wrote: I bought a Logitech keyboard via amazon warehouse dealsIsn't that what Amazon Warehouse Deals Is all about?
