Ray ban website, easy to SE? - Over - 09-23-2020

Hi sinisterly community and @mothered

I’m wanting to purchase a pair of sunglasses from ray bans official website. The SE method I have in mind is EB.

Ray Ban Original Wayfarer RB 2140 901 black model weighs 45 grams on its own. I don’t know how much the Ray-Ban Original Box, Original Case, Cleaning Cloth & Literature that comes in the box weighs as it’s not listed on their website.

I looked on amazon and one is listed as - Item Weight : 453.59 Grams so it doesn’t help me much.

Should I claim EB or sunglasses missing?

Partial worked for me before. If you're doing Ray Ban shades to sell on i wouldn't bother. Too many people are selling every model at a significantly decreased price online.

This website has them on a scale and it says the sunglasses weigh 1.3oz  so about 36 grams just for the sunglasses. The thing is on that photo, it looks like the new ones (mat finish) and not the classic ones. (gloss finish). Apparently the older classic ones were a bit heavier but I’m trying to find the sunglasses weight which isn’t easy to find.

I’m wanting to purchase the classic original as it will fit my face better

I’m wanting to buy a pair for myself. So you did a partial and it worked? No problem with the weight?

I'm not entirely sure now. It was around a year ago. Ordered two pairs, claimed partial and sent the other one back.

Didn't have any problems. This was around a year ago. Maybe somebody has been successful in more recent times. Order two pairs and send one back after claiming partial. Pretty sure all the shades they sell are a similar weight, which isn't very much.

36 grams Is very well-suited to the missing Item/partial method. It will not register a weight on consignment.

I can't see the classic glasses being significantly heavier. Is this the one you're referring to?

The original ones are amazon dot com/Ray-Ban-Unisex-Adult-Wayfarer-Square-Sunglasses/dp/B016DEKFVK/ they basically look identical to the new ones only that the older ones are mat finish and a bit heavier. Maybe it’s only a few grams heavier or the impression people get. @mothered

So I should order two pairs of sunglasses, claim partial. Request refund and send one pair back?

I need to know the precise weight of the sunglasses.

They may not cross-check the consignment and simply approve the claim, but In the event they do check, It's of paramount Importance to make sure the weight does not register on the carrier's manifest.

An original pair of wayfarer classics exact weight is 44 grams. I ordered the original wayfarer and a pair of ray ban Justin classics which weigh 32 grams

I placed my order.:

Wayfarer classic exact weight 44 grams
Justin classic exact weight 32 grams

Two pairs of sunglasses. They should arrive on the 29th. Please advise @mothered
