Walmart SE DNA Police Report - RemurReturn - 07-26-2020

Hey guys this is a 2 part question

I just SE'd Walmart for a little less than 2k, but they want a police report, I believe it is because I ordered 2 similar high priced items, and the rep was suspicious and asked me why I ordered multiples of those. The order was shipped in multiple shipments and claimed to receive half. Whatever, they ended up telling me I need to file a police report. Can I somehow get past filling the report?

I'm also SE'ing another company which they might also ask for a police report, if they do, and I file the one for Walmart, can I use the same one for both companies?

A police report Is part of company protocol to move forward with your claim. You cannot breach their policy by circumventing It.

Simply file one.

The report Is dedicated to the circumstances of the claim that It relates to.

I can't use the PR for both despite the packages being delivered the same day by the same shipping company?

Will both packages be delivered to your premises by the same carrier at the exact same time?

If so and the police report does not reference Walmart, nor does It contain any specific details about Walmart's consignment, then yes, It can be used for both companies. In other words, If It's just a general report that does not name the companies & Items In question, you're good to go.

Yea it was another truck, but within 15 minutes of each other. Also, the other company wants me to fill out an affidavit form for a replacement, is that something worth filling out as it's able to be used in court? The worth of the item is less that $800

One last last thing, I opened a claim with financial institution, and they working on it, instead of getting the PR. Was that decent move in terms of the SE?

A affidavit Is admissible In court, and I always suggest not to sign It.

It may well only be required to move forward with the claim, but If there's reason to, It can be taken further.

Are you referring to a chargeback via your credit card provider, or a bank reversal with your merchant?

Either way, they'll evaluate the details with Walmart and most likely require the police report.

I’ll sign in and call it quits I’m probably done with them and SE In general from here on out.
It’s a chargeback via my ban/k/credlt carb provider, it’s a debit carb but the same concept. They’re going to investigate I guess .

Would you happen to know if the chargeback fails, will I still be able to return the items back to Walmart?

They’re going to investigate I guess .
They will liaise with Walmart and collect details relating to your claim.

A decision will then be made based on the Information at hand.

If you used the DNA, simply say that you've located the package and would like a refund.

May I ask about your process with Walmart? Did they believe you when you stated that your items DNA and do you think that the only reason why they requested a police report is because of the price of your items totaling 2,000? Best of luck on your SE.
