Is Missing Item Appropriate? - Pumic - 07-14-2020 I've just received my new 1TB SSD from Amazon and wonder if "Nothing was in the box" would be an appropriate claim. The carrier was Amazon and the recorded weight of the box is .4lbs, or about 181g. I'm also curious if it would be a bad idea to attempt another SE so soon since my last was about 2 weeks ago on the same Amazon account (with several legit and high dollar orders). The SSD cost $189.99 + tax RE: Is DNA Appropriate? - vroey - 07-14-2020 (07-14-2020, 12:25 AM)Pumic Wrote: I've just received my new 1TB SSD from Amazon and wonder if "Nothing was in the box" would be an appropriate claim.DNA would be perfect but after this refund dont do another one on the same account to be safe. and dont do EB cuz its heavy RE: Is DNA Appropriate? - mothered - 07-14-2020 Quote:Is DNA Appropriate? Quote: I've just received my new 1TB SSD and wonder if "Nothing was in the box" would be an appropriate claim. You've confused the "DNA (Did Not Arrive)" with the "missing Item Method". Quote:and the recorded weight of the box is .4lbs, or about 181g.The missing Item method, Is always based on the "Item" (net) weight and not the box/package (gross) weight. Now much does the SSD weigh? RE: Is DNA Appropriate? - Pumic - 07-14-2020 [quote="mothered" pid='951255' dateline='1594693971'] Quote:Now much does the SSD weigh? The SSD itself weighs 1.92 ounces, or 55 grams, so I could probably just say the box came but the SSD itself just wasn't in the packaging. RE: Is Missing Item Appropriate? - Fastera - 07-14-2020 I believe at 189.99$ you will likely go through the automated bot chat system. There you will be faced with a few options you can choose to “say”. I believe one is that the item wasn’t in the box. Form then it’s likely the bot will simply offer you replacement or refund. Let us know how it went. The missing item method worked perfectly for me here. It was a successful SE (07-14-2020, 09:53 AM)thrw7878 Wrote: I believe at 189.99$ you will likely go through the automated bot chat system. Their bot system put me through to an online chat agent, but after speaking to the agent for roughly 10 minutes they offered to replace or refund the item. RE: Is Missing Item Appropriate? - Green314 - 07-14-2020 Which are the limits for the EB and DNA methods in € or $... DNA max 500€? Something like that? I see. Still great job for your successful SE! |
