PP Currys - SE.UK - 07-02-2020

Anyone heard anything from Currys responding to PP disputes recently?

Used a wrong item received, PP due to review the info tomorrow, can see that it was last updated yesterday (not by me), so perhaps they are responding now. Will be interesting to see!!

Will of course keep this thread updated and share my dialog if things go well.

Not that I'm aware.

If the dispute fails, escalate It to a claim and If that also doesn't work In your favor, perform a chargeback via your credit card provider or a bank reversal with your merchant.

Recently did a curry's pp. They have a tendency to keep on pushing the date on which they are reviewing the information, but after ~4 weeks got a refund, no response.

Nice one thanks for the heads up. No movement on it so far so I'll just hang onto it. I heard rumours that PC world recently entered some sort of agreement with PayPal to automatically decline disputes so that we (buyers) have to deal with them directly, so checking this out for myself.

Got it cheers. Will keep posted as mentioned on my other post, looking to see whether they've changed and whether anyone else has noticed it

Same.

I've made a mental note of this thread, and shall periodically check for updates.

What method did you use and what item/value?

Did this purely remain with PayPal (dispute- escalated to a claim), or did you perform a chargeback with your credit card provider/bank merchant who then forced the refund via PayPal?

Heard this too, but for samsung instead. I believe @mothered had a look through their terms and wasn't able to find anything, but my memory is pretty much non-existent now.

Yes, you're correct.

There wasn't anything conclusive.
