Nintendo SE - Pistache - 06-30-2020 Hey guys ! Has anyone some experience with SE nintendo? I've manange to get a Serial send them an email and stuff. told me to send them back the nintendo switch. They gave me a a strange label from ups. I dont think that boxing will work because a full nintendo switch is about 2kg. i would like to use a FTID service but i can't find one for Belgium. Do you have some advices to continue my se please ? RE: Nintendo SE - smemberp - 07-01-2020 check the terms and conditions I know that nintendo UK states in their terms that they do not take responsibility for the package at all and the SE would fail, i dont know how it work in Belgium though RE: Nintendo SE - Pistache - 07-01-2020 (07-01-2020, 12:03 AM)smemberp Wrote: check the terms and conditions I know that nintendo UK states in their terms that they do not take responsibility for the package at all and the SE would fail, i dont know how it work in Belgium though they said in my mail that they don't take responsibilities if the package takes damages because of a bad packaging. they also told to keep a proof ( if i use their label ups ) for lost/theft RE: Nintendo SE - Wimza - 07-15-2020 Hey, yes I have a failed attempt. Ups doesn't take weight at drop off points so your good to go there. The problem is how you do it. I claimed that the switch was defective and wanted a warranty repair but they where able to see that it had been being used the entire time since I raised the ticket... if they have that capability then they can probably block the device too. The consignment will display the weight at the delivery point. [/quote] I dont doubt that, but there are at least two points of contact after I hand it over at a drop off point (UK) where it could be compromised as well as the non secure way in which they are stored... I failed to mentioned it was the Switch Lite I attempted. Nintendo had no issue with the consignment, they seemed to be going through the motions of a replacement when they informed me the device had been signed in to the home network and been active daily since the RMA request. Wouldn't be surprised Nintendo has this type of logging. Connecting with your device after filing for RMA is a definite red flag. RE: Nintendo SE - ManakaJunpei - 07-16-2020 A good tip for any SE is to not use/touch the product if not necessary (maybe you have to in some cases for photoshop) not opening the box is a good habit to get as you will avoid situations like this and others in the future sucks to hear that it didnt work though at least now we know they track such data so thats really helpful. At least if you buy the product direct from the company, I do not think that now, third-place-companies such Amazon and so on may start investigation like these about the information provided by the item being SEd. They should not have access to those information. |
