Question about Walmart FTID - Falcuntpunch - 06-17-2020

I have an account with a legit purchase (around $400) and I want to attempt an FTID on a TV.

Would FTID work for Walmart USA in this case? What's the process I should take, just give them a call after a few days?

I heard Walmart Canada FTID isn't exactly easy.
According to @OriginalApe US is doable.

But yup, it sounds like you're already familiar with FTID. Make them throw away the package and call in a few days later asking about it.

Precisely which method are you planning to use?

Do note that the FTID Is flawed and contains an array of Inconsistencies, so do expect a lengthy and arduous claims process.

Usually just send an empty bubble wrap envelope and remove all the personal information from the label.

Then I wait a few days and call them.

Thanks, just a bit nervous since the item would be pretty large in this case and hard to "lose" in a warehouse. I wanted to do this through target but my account got blocked after too many refunds. It would have been so easy that way Sad

Yeah I feel you. I have the same concerns with FTID.
You have to hope that either
1. They don't investigate and refund right away
2. They throw away your package so that they cannot cross-check the physical package with that of the carrier's records and thus deem the investigation inconclusive

Packing with bubble wrap, Is not good practice- this Is just one of the Inconsistencies with Bob's eBook.

Anyone who works In return centers and/or Inwards goods, will be well aware that bubble wrap Is used for packing fragile goods. As such, the return will most likely be scanned and checked on the grounds It contains an Item.

Thanks for pointing that out. I might need to rethink the package in that case. I guess the goal is to get it tossed out by pretending it's junk mail or something.

Precisely the point of this particular FTID method.

Junk mail will obviously not be (heavily) enclosed In bubble wrap, so I have no Idea what this "Bob" character Is thinking In his eBook.
