If you have restore points available, perform a System Restore back to the date of when the camera was functioning correctly.

You can find the setup Driver & software for your laptop here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/nl/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-g-series-laptops/lenovo-g580-notebook/downloads/ds031304 download this.

It seems like you might have a driver issue, if you can go to Windows > Run > devmgmt.msc
Then identify the Camera driver within the list and go to properties > driver > Uninstall Device
after that uninstall the camera driver in control panel > programs > uninstall a program > uninstall Camera software

Now do a restart and run your fresh downloaded setup and try to see if you are able to use the camera.

It could be multiple reasons, perhaps a hardware Issue.

Did you perform a System Restore?

How did you Install the driver? Was It with the executable file, or browsing the directory via Device Manager?
