I like Its simplicity, an extremely user-friendly tool.

As a matter of Interest, do you handpick the apps you're cracking, or just any at random?

i normally go through the latest apps on softpedia, then i scroll through a few pages while searching for apps using the .net framework, when i find an app using it, i check the other softwares of the company.

I thought you'd be using Softpedia as your resource.

They've basically got almost every software on the market- hence "software encyclopedia"

thats what i use for my todo list, i previously used SoftSea and still do, but softpedia has thousands of applications compared to the few hundred softsea has, but if i need a software for personal uses, i will prefer going to softsea instead of softpedia, for example, i found GFIE (Greenfish Icon Editor) on SoftSea, it is also available on softpedia but is way harder to find due to others apps being more popular (or even just the number of apps that can do the same thing), i still use GFIE to this day and has been using it for low-quality images (like pixel-art) and allows the creation of gifs, icons & more, i've used it for the crack.tools stylish theme.

@mothered
TL;DR: Softpedia is good for app cracking, but i prefer using softsea for personal uses

I'm quite the opposite.

I've been using Softpedia for over a decade, and prefer It over every other software resource. There's no right or wrong- as long as It serves Its purpose for one's expectations, then that's all that matters.

the good thing about Softpedia is that there is a lot of applications on it and they do not add adwares (unlike Softonic)

Absolutely.

In all my years of using Softpedia, I've yet to come across an Infected file and the like.

they also always tell you that they do not change any applications you download, which is always good to know

Correct.

Everything on the site Is free to download, and It doesn't come packed with Installers. I'm not sure whether It's still the case, but CNET were/are terrible to deal with- almost every file had an Installer associated with It. For this very reason, I've stopped using them.
