PC Currys FTID/Boxing - Brunello - 05-22-2020

I order a pretty expensive computer on their website.

I proceeded with a return request but unfortunately the only way to get it done is by collection from DPD as they don’t accept returns they do not collect.

I tried everything but at the moment there is no way to get a prepaid label.

Should I try to box them or is it too dangerous?

It's too big and heavy to box.

Use the wrong Item received method.

Unfortunately I have already proceed with the refund request.

I will probably try to remove it from the sealed carton box and re close it

What method are you planning to use?

As far as I know, every laptop including Apple’s is shipped from the manufacturer to the seller and from the seller to the buyer in the same sealed carton box with a sticker matching the serial number and other barcodes.
Obviously the box has a strip you have to tear in order to get the package out.

Now, it’s very time consuming but what I did is, I managed to open to bottom melting with a hot blade the double sided tape, then I replaced the apple package with one of the same size and weight (you have to use your imagination).

Now I believe, once is returned, as long as the conditions are perfect no one will open the package to inspect.

Obviously I had to adapt to the situation, let me know what you think.

It may work actually. If the seals are not broken, they may not inspect the insides.
Let us know how it goes.

If the box/package appears to be In the "exact condition" as per the manufacturer's shipment (with absolutely no signs of tampering), then I believe It will work In your favor.

The Issue with this, Is that It will be returned by the person who unfortunately purchased your return.

As such, they "may" cross-check Its original sale, link It to the account holder (yourself) and debit the card/payment system. I'm not suggest this will happen, but rather a possibility that It may.
