Amazon DNA police report - Brunto - 04-27-2020 hello everyone, I'm really in great difficulty. I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to repay an ipad with DNA on amazon. I did not sign and they left the package in my home. Amazon asks for the report from the police. I would like to get around this problem, I know it's part of the corporate protocol but some people manage to get around and I would like to do it too. pls i need help too much RE: Amazon DNA police report - SeychellesTorGuardNode - 04-27-2020 Basically, if you report the Ipad as stolen, it will get bricked and wont work anymore. You should of SE'd a non-apple item that cant get bricked, like a Laptop. An ipad will get blacklisted and stop working if its reported stolen. So basically, what you can do is, sell the Ipad TODAY, get cash for it, then file the police report as stolen off your front porch. Just be sure when your selling the Ipad, that your anonymous, post on Craigslist using a VPN, use a Burner Virtual phone number. Because that Craigslist Post selling the Ipad will be forensically analyzed by its IP address, phone number.. So I'd try to sell it, then delete the craigslist post. Once you have cash from the Ipad, report the item as stolen off your front porch. File the police report, 'I wasnt home and somebody took the box etc' But remember, whoever buys the Ipad will probably contact you, or the police, once the IPad you sold them gets locked. So honestly I think you have to be 100% anonymous, IP address, Phone number has to be 100% untraceable, or it will come back to you and you may get arrested. So, in your case, I'd just stop. RE: Amazon DNA police report - Brunto - 04-27-2020 first of all thank you very much for giving me support. so I have to get around the police report. maybe trying in live chat and talking to another operator RE: Amazon DNA police report - mothered - 04-28-2020 (04-27-2020, 09:13 PM)Brunto Wrote: so I have to get around the police report. maybe trying in live chat and talking to another operatorEvery claim Is kept on file with the latest developments. If other representatives refer to your claim during subsequent chats, It will show that a police report Is required to move forward. Why do you wish to avoid It? RE: Amazon DNA police report - Brunto - 04-28-2020 I would like to avoid it because I am a minor. I've yet to read nor personally experience, matters taken further purely based on a police report. As said, companies have procedures In place and where warranted, a police report Is requested as part of their Investigation process to move forward with the claim, and nothing more. An analogy, Is like when you have a minor car accident without breaking the law In any capacity. A police report Is filed solely for record-keeping, and not legal proceedings. RE: Amazon DNA police report - Brunto - 04-28-2020 there must be a way to avoid it. For example, I found out that they ask when they understand that you begin to lie (for example, you use the empty box with a lot of weight, or too many refunds, and now I think about apple products). However, a way around it must exist RE: Amazon DNA police report - Vanfuzzy - 04-28-2020 (04-27-2020, 09:09 PM)SeychellesTorGuardNode Wrote: Basically, if you report the Ipad as stolen, it will get bricked and wont work anymore.
