The start of Webtoons in the anime industry - Artamo - 03-29-2020

2020 Seems like a great year for anime: from the final season of AoT to anime like ID:Invaded and Pet incorporating more serious and interesting topics.
This year also seems to be revolutionary in other aspects as well: We're getting 3 huge webtoons animated. The partnership between Crunchyroll and the digital publisher Webtoons has been announced last year and is going to bring some serious revolutionary change. I'm Really excited about the change because of the wide range of existing Webtoons that already exist.

The three anime that are releasing this year are Tower of God, Nobelesse and The God of Highschool. I'm particularly excited about Tower of God releasing, and the trailer looks fantastic. I have to give respect to Telecom Animation Film for valuing the original feel of the Webtoon and keeping the same artistic feel.

Sadly, Solo Leveling, another huge Webtoon that everyone wants to see animated is still out of options due to it not being under the digital publisher.

I would love to hear everyone else's opinion on the future of Webtoons in the many years to come.

I read a bit of Noblesse, would definitely try the anime. Being Korean in origin, it's surprising it'd receive an adaptation. Also hard to believe Attack on Titan will end.

I don't think this year will be any different, even with the corona outbreak, even with everybody staying inside.. i don't think how that affects things such as the manga and anime community, as much as i would like it to

I mean the pandemic wasn't mentioned, the post is about this year being revolutionary in terms of webtoons getting anime adaptations. It doesn't even seem like you read my post >.>. Were 10 sentences worth of read too much for you?

Noblesse is good. The manga is pretty long so I didn't keep up, but I will definitely watch the anime.

I realized that the ringtone made from AoT always appeal to the user. To me, anime is becoming a part of life. If you want to download such ringtones you can look to tonosdellamadamp3.com, which offers great anime ringtones.
