Graphics Card Amazon SE - Edition - 10-03-2019

I've SE things on Amazon before many times but this is the most expensive item I have ever done so I want to make sure my method is going to be planned to the inch.

The product I've picked is any graphics car-d £460 - £500.

The plan is to order "fulfilled by Amazon" and order it specifically to arrive for a day where nobody will be home. The package then, due to it's value will be most likely dropped off to a neighbour where they will sign for it.

At this point I will go to grab the package and 1 hour later contact Amazon saying the checker says my package has been delivered to a neighbour but it hasn't.

They will most likely reply saying to wait a few days as usual. After two days I will further contact them via live chat and update them on what happened.

At this point I will be redirected to a "investigator agent" where I will be asked to sign a declaration of truth and send it to him via email. I will co-operate and do as asked altering the signature as I have done this before 4 times.

Now either can happen:
1. Investigation takes place due to value
2. Basic checks are done and refund is given

I am expecting them to carry out an investigation but it could not happen as the last high value item was 5 months ago on this account and has 80+ orders in between so far. The setup is perfect to make it look like a mere packing fault.

Then I get my refund issues and keep the item.

I have some questions however and am open to anyone who knows more about SE'ing.
Do I 100% have to order fulfilled by Amazon or can I use prime? I have prime on my account.
Would it be better to corrupt the scanned pdf after I have signed it to make sure I don't sign the declaration?

Again, any advice or tips are appreciated. Thank you.

It's not good practice to get your neighbor Involved. If they contact him/her, It will significantly complicate the SE.

Seek an alternative, such as the wrong Item received method.

Would DNA not work for this?

Wrong item method your referring to is to buy a much cheaper graphics car-d with similar weight and replace it? Right?

Due to the high value and when it is delivered to a neighbour I think they would ask for a police report for this matter wouldn’t recommend a DNA for this one tbh, like mothered said I would suggest an alternative but your account looks good and has 80+ orders between the last refund you suggested so it may work your choice I would recommend an alternative

May just end up doing one for £360.

Could you give me some tips for the wrong item recieved method so I pull it off correctly?

I'm going to do with with a lower value item roughly £360. Wouldn't DNA work on this also?

Maybe introducing neighbour is not a good idea however DNA should still work, I don't understand why it wouldn't.

The DNA can well and truly work, but It's not the point.

Due to the Item's value and the nature of the method, do expect an Investigation opened. As such, your neighbor will be part of the equation which will complicate matters with the SE Itself, and your relationship with your neighbor.

So what if I just simply collect it and say it didn't arrived? Putting the neighbour out of the equation.

If the package Is dropped off without an authorizing signature, then yes, the DNA will work.

I'd say an Investigation will be opened, whereby they'll cross-check the consignment with the carrier.

So how does this method even work. Your confusing me because your saying DNA will work if the package is not signed for.

And yet every single time I've done it I've signed for it, had to sign a declaration, investigations were carried out and it still worked. Wouldn't they find out during the investigation that something fishy is going on because I signed for it?

I can always sign with a different name or something, I don't imagine the driver would go back to my house and rage at me for telling Amazon he didn't give me the package when he actually did.

My go to reply/allaby was that one of my room-mates would sign for it and if it got to it and they ended up saying they were going to arrest me or blacklist me I would just later on say that my room-mate was being stupid and hid it from me.
