Amazon Laptop Refund Method Help - bapexsupreme - 08-24-2019

Hi

I'm planning on SE'ing a laptop from amazon. Would like to receive it and get a refund. Back in the days I would just say i never received the item and would get a instant refund. My question is now they take a picture when they deliver your package. How would i get around that or is there a new method? I'll be using my main account for it so i have previous legit purchases on it. The item i want is just a basic acer laptop that's $300 and after tax is $350. Would like this laptop for all around use since i currently don't have a computer or laptop at the moment. Thank you and any help id appreciate it.

Evidently, you're referring to the DNA method.

Alternatively, you can opt for the "wrong Item received" method, by purchasing a "stock" Item that's significantly cheaper and weighs roughly the same as the laptop. Do this on a different account, and purchased from Amazon. When they request the return, send the wrong Item and they'll scan It and see It's part of their Inventory. A refund/replacement will be Issued thereafter.

Never heard of the DNA Method tried searching it on the site but can't find the actual thread for it. So with the DNA Method I would need to have a different amazon account, buy the laptop there, say i got the wrong item and ship back another laptop?

Is there another way to get around not having to send anything back. Back then i would just say i never received the item and i would get a instant refund or i would order something and months or years later i would just say i didn't authorize this item and get a refund as well.

DNA Is an abbreviation of "Did Not Arrive", which means exactly that- you claim that you did not receive the (entire) package.

Item weight on Amazon, is it for the item and it's packaging? Or is it only the item itself? I'm thinking if the item weight is the same, but the product package differs.

Thanks for clarifying what DNA stand for. Have you tried SE’ing a laptop or know anyone who have done it and got a refund using the DNA method? Amazon takes a picture now when they deliver the package to your front door or where they leave the package at. Can I still get away with saying I never received the item and get a refund?

You're SEing the Item, not It's packaging hence It's the "Item" weight (net weight), and not the gross weight.

I’ve ordered some items from them recently and when no one is at home they leave the package and take a picture and I get a notification that my item has been delivered on the amazon app

I just looked at the laptop weight it says 3.97 pounds and shipping weight is 5.75 pounds. Would I be able to get away with me buying the laptop and saying I never got it. I know it could go both ways if I get a shitty representative. But if it does go my way would they just offer me a refund or replacement? I’ve seen some people say they start doing investigation or ask you to sign some stuff now?
