Tom Ford sunglasses - BitPlayer - 08-01-2019 I’m thinking of doing either a DNA or missing item for Tom Ford sunglasses (£275) - direct from their website in the UK. Has anyone had any experience with Tom Ford? RE: Tom Ford sunglasses - mothered - 08-02-2019 The DNA will most likely open an Investigation, so disregard that. The glasses are extremely light (around 40 grams) that will barely register a weight on consignment, so opt for the missing Item method. Just out of curiosity, why is DNA not recommended on this? As I thought it was a tried and true method, especially when people have DNA'd items that are worth a lot more than £275. Not trying to cause any conflict, I'm a noob at S/E so would like to learn more about these methods and when to use them. Thank you RE: Tom Ford sunglasses - mothered - 08-02-2019 (08-02-2019, 09:34 AM)FlyingBirdFlip Wrote: Just out of curiosity, why is DNA not recommended on this? It can well and truly be used but as mentioned, an Investigation may be opened. You can avoid It In It's entirety, by opting for the missing Item method. It's quicker and given the nature of the Item, more likely to succeed. I’ll let you know how it goes. Please do. Tom Ford sunglasses - BitPlayer - 08-06-2019 Parcel has just arrived - needed to be signed for. Says the box weighs 1kg but actually weighted just over 400g. Glasses only weigh 30g, case weighs another 160g. Is it best to say no glasses and no case (just the box) OR say the case was in the box but not the glasses? TIA RE: Tom Ford sunglasses - Jared - 08-06-2019 (08-06-2019, 01:49 PM)BitPlayer Wrote: Parcel has just arrived - needed to be signed for. They will probably ask you to send back the case without the glasses. RE: Tom Ford sunglasses - 99028 - 08-06-2019 i would go for, there was glass case but no glasses Tom Ford sunglasses - BitPlayer - 08-07-2019 Thanks. Let’s see how this goes. |
