Mailing packages to vacant houses ?? - seal - 06-24-2019

Anyone know if it’s safe to mail stuff to vacant (not abandoned houses) just vacant ones that people are not living in.

You should be fine unless you're doing bulk amounts (10-20+ of an item) or very expensive things (over $1-3k). Even then if you've taken the time to cover your Digital + Physical tracks there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

It's actually recommended to use Vacant or Abandoned properties when it comes to this because you never know what would/could trigger an entity to call the authorities.

Unless the home Is Inspected thoroughly and deemed unoccupied (which will never happen from a carrier's standpoint), you'll be fine.

thanks i had an idea that vacant houses that are waiting for a renter or just that no ones lives in would work but not a abandoned rundown house that looks like its been neglected for years or some shit

If the house Is absolutely trashed to the point of being consistent with uninhabitable living conditions, then that's a different story.

I'd be targeting those with a reasonable appearance- externally. The condition of the Internal premises, Is Immaterial.

I think he means by people in general, or worse, the authorities.
