and was wondering if anyone would like this service?? took me approximately 1 month, but was worth the investment as i was able to flip it for around 6500 locally RE: Alienware area 51 $8000 desktop - seal - 06-23-2019 Damn I’ll take one for free 😉 RE: Alienware area 51 $8000 desktop - roastedtv - 06-23-2019 Are you gonna hand vouch copies? And if so i will proudly take one and write a full review on your service. If im not elegible try asking @Oni or @mothered if they accept vouch copies. I also wouldn't give out a free vouch copy if it took me a month lol but would you consider a discount for vouches? But my main question : how much would you charge for one of these? RE: Alienware area 51 $8000 desktop - mothered - 06-24-2019 In my view, 25% (2,000) sounds like a reasonable figure. Moreover, affordability would be more likely than not compared to the other rates. RE: Alienware area 51 $8000 desktop - tedownyiskinm - 06-24-2019 This is a difficult one. If you are successful and i was in the market for one of these then even $4000 is a worth while price, heck its 50% off. The risk factor of dealing with someone you dont know/haven't meet does change the price someone might be willing to pay so for that reason i would say right now $1000-$2000 would be a fair price. Maybe a deposit amount would be paid upfront then the remainder paid once the buyer has a confirmation email of item being delivered that says what the item is to try and mitigate that risk factor for buyer. However as you have a few services on the forum, i think once people see vouches for these then you can command a higher price. I ordered the Bose headphone service over the weekend so if that all goes well I'll be vouching you. RE: Alienware area 51 $8000 desktop - TalkingPhone - 06-24-2019 Feel that a reasonable price would be around $1500 more people would be prone to buy and would inturn lead to high profitbility but i guess its your choice for what price you want to put! RE: Alienware area 51 $8000 desktop - relaxed state - 06-24-2019 Chose $3500 because that seems fair for something powerful that I didn't build myself or that someone else is taking the risk on. Wouldn't pay more than $4000 flat but anywhere from 2500+ seems reasonable IMHO. Basically a steal really. My question is did it take 1 month for them to re-build it or for the actual SE back/forth process with them taking a week to send it off? Also: Everyone who said $1k is silly. I’m assuming it’s the building process that took long, no one is readily buying an 8000$ PC But yes, I think 2500-3500 sounds about right imo |
