Using CC To Refund - bbBrandon - 06-09-2019
I'm gonna order airpods from bestbuy.ca using a cc but I wanna know if its safe to use them for refunding? Are chargebacks bad on cc's?
I'm probably gonna use this cc for one more refund somewhere else but it's not likely that I will and the airpods will be the only chargeback on this cc

Well, i would honestly look for a paid guide on how to win chargebacks everytime, because you dont wana risk your money.

Well if you're looking to keep your real credit card info private and still be able to use one, just set up a virtual credit card. There's plenty of companies that offer it. I'm not sure of any I can recommend though since I haven't ever used one.

I'm not sure. You'll have to do research on that for whatever company you choose.

The whole point of refunding is not to start a chargeback, anyone can win a chargeback, your banks love you so they will do anything to keep you with them.

Why are you opting for a charge back?
AirPods are extremely light (4 grams for the Pods, and the charging case at 38 grams), which will barely register a weight on consignment, particularly If the carrier rounds It to the nearest figure. Use the "missing Item" method. In my experience, the success rate Is very high.

Chargebacks are easy. Plus it costs the merchant money to challenge it. If your reasoning is good then it would easily work. Airpods are easy to SE though. Chargebacks aren't recorded, but if it goes beyond that and turns in to a Section 75 claim then that probably is recorded. Either way "The customer is always right" so i wouldn't worry about how many times you use a chargeback. As long as it's not more than once a month or something.
