Easiest way to Start SEing? - Request - 05-01-2019

Hello all,

I haven't much experience in this field and was wondering, what's a simple target that I can do for first time experiences? Low-risk, low-reward kinda stuff.

Thanks

I would start reading e-books, or just post a thread if you need help. I'm not sure what would be considered low risk since I'm not experienced enough.

Depends what you want to SE. If like 90% of this forum you are interested in refunding amazon is a great place to start. My first SE was for a £20 lighter , very low risk and the reward wasn't too great either . But it was a simple matter of "empty box" and my refund was processed.

I am in no way a professional at this.

Firstly, get to know the terminology.
Spoiler:
Code:
SN - Serial Number POP - Proof of purchase - Essentially a receipt PID - Product ID SE - Social Engineer/ing/ed VCC - Virtual Credit Card - Contains a balance which companies may use for holds, normally for AR's Boxing - Sending an empty box and claiming goods were stolen in transits, usually only works for prepaid labels AR - Advanced Replacement - company ships out product before they receive defective one back Cross-shipping - Once a company see's their prepaid label is scanned they will send out new product (Essentially boxing) Drop shipping - You sell the product that you dont own yet on ebay or somewhere and get the manufacturer to ship to them directly so you are never in contact with the product itself Drop - A house or location you can receive the product without the place relating to you so you cannot get billed, usually only for AR's Bill - An invoice a company will send you out asking to pay for the stolen product (only if they know it's Socially Engineered) C&D - Cease and Desist - A letter sent from a company asking you to stop SEing them or will threaten with authorities Rep - Representative - A customer service assistant for a specific company RTB - Return to base Exif - The data stored in a image file which can give away model of device taking picture/location it was taken, this is information created by your camera Metadata - The data left on an image that can give away if it was saved by a certain software or when it was saved/edited, this information is left by a software. AGC - Amazon Gift card (GC = Gift card)
I take no credit

Secondly, get to know the difference between se'ing and refunding.
They are completely different, and refunding is less rewarding. But, they are a lot easier.
Spoiler: example sites for beginners
In order of simplest -> hardest, altough they are all easier then se'ing.
Ubereats ( DNA)
---
Wish.com ( CB method) (DNA) (Broken)
Google play store (CB)
Samsung (CB)
---
G2A (Broken)
---
Amazon (multiple)

I have done quite a bit of refunding, success every time.
I have attempted Se'ing, failure every time.
Spoiler:
Se'ing:
Logitech
Senheiser

Every site/service can be se'd, just depends on your skill level.

Obviously refunding will have a bigger risk, but lower reward. However, from my examples, you can clearly see how much easier refunding is than se'ing.

Anyway, contact me for guides and help(with refunding only Wink2), or visit my thread titled Food se'ing?(yes I used the wrong terminology)
Or
Hiring refund testers.
Good luck!

Edit: thanks for my first rep, @"miyaKo"

When I first started SEing , I think it was a few months ago. It was an Amazon account I created a week prior with no orders on so not really wasted.furthermore , it was my first SE so I thought it best to start small.

Oh I didn't understand. Most people refund stuff around 10$ on their PERSONAL amazon account that had like 8 years of history. It baffles me xD

That's a fairly comprehensive guide to the basics. Quality post.

Thank you Heart I just typed that post up since I was bored. Didn't know one post could get me 5 rep.
Plus some(the terminology bit) is copied off another forum(saved on my device so I can't get credit)(can't link another forum due to rules)
Thank you.
